Valley View's Acute Care Day shift team is looking for a PCT CNA/MA/EMT to join our team! Eligible for Employee Referral Bonuses…refer a friend and earn $$$ Evening/Weekend differentials!: This is a Day Shift position working 3 12 hour shifts a week - rotating weekends! QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Performs basic patient care according to established procedures under the supervision of staff RN/LPN, including hygiene, nutrition, I&O and vital sign monitoring. - Observes patient condition and reports immediately any abnormal symptoms or unusual occurrences. - Performs specialized skills after additional training and competency verification. - Maintains adequate supplies and participates in upkeep and stocking of unit and patient care areas. - Sets up and maintains equipment properly as directed. - Provides safe, efficient environment for patients and families. - Assists patients, visitors, and families, and either meets requests or communicates requests to appropriate staff member - Assists care providers as appropriate. - Assists with clerical duties. - Assists with obtaining accurate heights and weights as directed. - Performs patient rounding. - Assists with implementing and moni...
