Job DetailsJob Location: Globe Office - Globe, AZ 85501Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayTITLE: Peer Support Specialist HOURS: 40 hours per week, some evenings, weekends (as needed) SUPERVISED BY: Director of Community Impact SALARY: Full-Time, $19/hour: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Peer Support Specialist is responsible for creating and facilitating Support Groups for pregnant and parenting mothers who have participated in the AZYP Linking Actions for Healthy Mothers and Babies (LAHMB) program. Collaborate with LAHMB Staff to register participants. Participate in the LAHMB Consortium. Schedule and facilitation Peer Support Groups. Provide encouragement and support to participants to engage in activities. Attend and complete peer support certification trainings as required. Facilitate group discussions, module presentations, and role-playing activities with fidelity to selected programming. Facilitate Peer Support Groups. Assist program participants in the development of confidence and skills related to parenting. Facilitate groups in an open and welcoming environment.
