New York, New York Job Description: Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking to hire a 4th or 5th year associate to join the New York Litigation-General practice group in the Litigation Global Business Unit. Candidate must have strong academic credentials and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, oral advocacy, research, writing, and analytical skills. The candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation (fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial, trial, settlement, etc.) and developing and maintaining strong business and client relationships. Previous or current employment with an Am Law 100 firm is desired. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of discovery, preparing witnesses for deposition, drafting complaints, answers, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, managing filing and service of pleadings, etc. Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and exercise strong professional judgement is essential.
