Program Specialist - Field Sports/Athletics

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Program Specialist to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As the Field Sports/Athletics Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and leading a variety of team sports and field games for campers ages 6-13, including soccer, capture the flag, all camp games, and more. You will develop age-appropriate lesson plans focused on teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun! In this role, you’ll also coordinate other staff members, assigning roles and ensuring that each activity is organized, safe, and fun for all participants.
