Social Media Lead - Metro UK Location: On-site, HSK, London Contract Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a Social Media Lead to join our team and play a key role in growing Metro UK’s social following. This role will play a key role in creating and maintaining high quality video and static content, consistent with the Metro’s tone of voice. DMG New Media is a new social publisher, built on a network of over 150 million social followers across news, entertainment, sport, and other brands. We are at the forefront of social media and driving massive growth. This role spans the full creative process - from ideating concepts to producing and publishing high-impact social content. It will also include supporting our commercial creative team with commercial briefs where necessary. The ideal candidate is highly creative, hands-on with video and static production with an adept understanding of social-first storytelling. They will also possess a deep understanding of social media trends, audience behaviour, and what makes content thrive across platforms.
