NAPA Fleet Supervisor Job Summary: The NAPA Auto Parts Private Fleet is seeking a motivated individual with a desire to start a career in the fast paced, rewarding transportation management business. Any individual interested in this position must thrive in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressures and forward thinking highly motivated manager. Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary as well as the ability to work with other locations to accomplish specific goals. This person must be a proven leader and possess the ability to think on their feet and make sound decisions. Responsibilities: - Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends due to varying freight volumes. - Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand as needed. - Utilize mobile handheld devices for tracking shipments. - Safely climb in and out of trailers. - Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally). - Secure freight inside trailers using appropria...
