Description GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Ensure conformance of products and processes to meet established standards. Drives quality culture throughout the organization in accordance with the Quality Operating System. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These are duties that the person holding this job MUST be able to perform. Safety & Compliance: - Identify and report safety hazards in accordance with OSHA regulations - Understand and comply with MSDS/SDS requirements for hazardous materials - Recognize and report sharp parts, burrs, and broken components that pose safety risks - Apply proper lifting techniques and ergonomics principles Part Inspection - Visual & Cosmetic: - Identify and distinguish common defects including flash, short shot, splay, burns, sink, and warping - Evaluate parts using proper lighting conditions or light booths to ensure consistent inspection - Apply visual quality criteria related to color, texture, gloss, and gate appearance - Inspect samples per Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) or visual standards...
