Let’s Redefine Possible®: Project Name: Prairie Wind Project: Project Location: Max, ND 58759 SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking an ironworker that will be responsible for marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set up, flag, and inspect a crane; inspect rigging properly - Check in truck deliveries against bill of lading; direct forklift/crane to unload delivery truck - Counting bars and bundles of rebar, dobies, and wire mesh - Directing forklift/crane to unload delivery truck - Shake out rebar, distribute/organize accordingly; use pliers to tie rebar intersections with tie wire - Splicing mats or rebar sections together with short rebar dowels - Understanding building codes/requirements - Cut excess rebar ends and miscellaneous pieces with gas cut saw or cutting torch - Install mechanical rebar splices b...
