Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships JOB SUMMARY: Safely works in both tight spaces overhead and underground to repair or install overhead and underground communication lines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent - 5 years prior experience in the skill of splicing communication lines. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Current Class A CDL or willingness and ability to obtain. - Current DOT Medical Exam card or willingness to obtain. - Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness and ability to obtain. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Fine motor skills and visual acuity is required for success. - Demonstrate the ability to read instructions, write reports and work with computers. - Ability to differentiate between colors. - Must be willing and able to join Montana IBEW under outside communication contract upon hire. - May need to respond under stressful or urgent situations. - Awareness of all Safety regulations for Line Companies; knowledge of all Utility, N.E.S.C., DOT and OSHA Safety Rules.
