Position Summary: The Admissions Director has direct oversight over all admissions, ensuring the process is efficient and that the needs of the individual served are at the forefront of the planning. This role is tasked with obtaining all necessary intake documents and conducting bio-psycho-social assessments to identify the strengths and needs of the individual served. Key responsibilities include assessing acuity, staffing, safety, and clinical/medical needs, attending referral meetings, and proactively managing the census. Responsibilities: - Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. - Supervises all admissions staff and meets with direct reports at a minimum bi-weekly. - Responsible for contacting and meeting with all referring agencies for placement of individuals with BSLS. - Arrange tours and/or presentations of our programs to potential consumers, families, and agencies. • Consults with management during the admission process, as needed. - Communicates with management and other employees regarding new individuals and their needs. - Attend meetings related to referrals and individual placements. - Proactively manage the census at the home s...
