ONA: Windsor Site Comprehensive Health Promotion Department Contract (up to 24 months) Closing Date: June 4, 2026 Position Summary: The Public Health Nurse promotes, protects, and preserves the health of individuals, families, groups, and communities by integrating public health science with professional nursing practice. The role serves diverse populations across Windsor Essex by delivering evidence informed assessment, education, intervention, evaluation, and community based programming. Through surveillance, health promotion, disease prevention, and collaborative partnerships, the Public Health Nurse improves client and population health outcomes and advances health equity. Working within regulatory standards and organizational policies, this position supports the ongoing operations and public health mandate of the Windsor Essex County Health Unit.
