Title: Sr. Systems Engineer – Traffic Modeling (Missile Tracking) Overview: Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a leading federal defense contractor on the US Space Force SDA GMI program . This role focuses on traffic data modeling, satellite-ground communications, and missile tracking systems within PWSA. Key Responsibilities: - Develop traffic/data flow models for satellite-to-ground systems - Support missile tracking & satellite scheduling - Analyze data to validate system performance - Assist with system integration, testing, and deployment Requirements: - Active DoD Top Secret Clearance & US Citizenship (required) - Bachelor's + 8 yrs or Master's + 6 yrs experience - 15+ yrs in communication data modeling - 10+ yrs in satellite RF communication / traffic modeling - Experience with MBSE tools (CAMEO/MagicDraw) - Skills in Java, Python, or MATLAB Nice to Have: - Missile tracking / sensor fusion experience - Satellite scheduling & cloud exposure - Image/data processing background
