40 hours per week Day Shift: Job Summary: The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is responsible for practicing medicine to include conducting examinations and writing prescriptions. Within physician –APRN collaborative agreement, the APRN exercises autonomy in medical decision-making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services with no supervision requirement. May practice in several specialty areas including occupational medicine, surgery, urgent care, family/internal medicine and specialty. Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required: - BSN required; MSN required - Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program - Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability - Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state - Current unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky - Board certification required - BLS Certification
