Job DetailsJob Location: Spicewood - Austin, TX 78759Position Type: PRNJob Shift: Flexible JOB TITLE: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services: POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of a RN Case Manager or Team Leader, provides quality personal care following an established Plan of Care and performs other supportive tasks as assigned. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: REPORTS TO: CNA Manager: SUPERVISES: None: INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS: All comments, actions and behaviors have a direct effect on the public’s perception of Hospice Austin. Interactions with patients, family members, physicians, referral sources, visitors, co-workers, etc. must be in a manner that is courteous, respectful, cooperative and professional. This behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork and positive relations. EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED: Office equipment, automobile, minor medical equipment including but not limited to blood pressure cuff, oxygen tanks or concentrators, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists with personal hygiene--bathes, grooms (hair and nails), provides oral hygiene, checks skin integrity.
