Job Description Position Purpose: The Maintenance Technician - Automation is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of assembly, subassembly, printing, and/or packaging machines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions - Read, use, and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools - Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment - Check and maintain quality of product being produced by identifying acceptable and non-acceptable product in accordance with Quality policies and procedures - Actively participate on teams and offer suggestions for improvement - Answer machine alarms as they occur and identify and address the root cause. - Follow all 5S guidelines - Perform and document inspections per cGMP for work instruction sheet, on device history sheet records, and work instruction sheet tables - Follow all Lock Out/Tag Out rules - Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical malfunction on a variety of machines - Adjusts assembly machine units for major/minor lot production operations following departmen...
