Department Overview Doernbecher (DCH) 9S Pediatric Acute Care Surgical (PACS) is a 24-bed unit providing evidence-based, acute care for pediatric patients and their families from birth to young adulthood. Services that admit to DCH 9S PACS include and are not limited to: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and General Peds overflow. Our Vision: DCH 9S PACS faces all endeavors with a growth mindset and a people-centered approach to provide excellent care to our patients and support a healthy workplace.Our Mission: DCH 9S PACS is a people-centered, interdisciplinary, team-based system of coordinated patient care. The team will provide individualized, excellent care for all pediatric patients by working together with departments and specialists across Doernbecher and OHSU to ensure every patient and family receive the right care, at the right place and at the right time by the right people.
