Job Shift: Nights Job Type: Full Time: Up to $5,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. A Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring the heart rhythm pattern of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances using telemetry equipment. Reviews patient information to determine normal heart rhythm pattern, current pattern, and prior variances. Observes cardiac monitor and listens for alarms to identify abnormal variation in heart rhythm. Informs Assistant Nurse Manager and/or Registered Nurse of variances to initiate examination of patient. 1. Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume job responsibilities. 2. Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated. 3. Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure. 4. Assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Adheres to AIDET protocol. 5.
