Job Posting End Date: Worker Sub-Type: Seasonal (Seasonal) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Position Summary: Responsible for leading and organizing activities for the summer programs. Work includes maintaining a safe play environment, providing arts and crafts, and daily activities, and supervising program participants. The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, some weekend and the season runs late May through August 25th. Hours will vary based on candidate availability, department needs, and weather. Examples of Work Performed: The following duties are typical of this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned. Qualifications: At least 16 years of age. Compensation: Starting hourly rate for a Program Leader is $15.25 year one, $15.50 year two, and $15.75 year three. This is a seasonal position and there are no benefits. - Maintain a safe play environment for program participants including checking activity areas for hazardous conditions, i.e. litter, broken glass, and equipment condition. - Maintain order, supervise, and guide scheduled and unscheduled activities for program participants. - Revie...
