We are working closely alongside a local authority in Liverpool t o assist with the appointment of a Court of Protection Officer on a 2 - months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £134.80- £177.58 per day Summary: The Court of Protection Officer plays a critical role in safeguarding the property and financial affairs of vulnerable adults who lack the mental capacity to manage their own interests. Working under the delegated authority of the Court-Appointed Deputy, you will be responsible for enforcing Court Orders and ensuring the Council fulfills its legal obligations to the client, the Court of Protection, and the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).This role requires a unique blend of legal compliance, financial acumen, and social care awareness. You will navigate complex government systems and financial institutions to secure the best interests of the client, ensuring all actions comply with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Local Authority Deputy Standards.
