Job DetailsJob Location: CT - Seymour, CT 06483Position Overview Microboard is seeking a highly skilled SMT Programming Engineer to lead the programming, optimization, and performance of our surface mount technology (SMT) assembly lines. This role plays a critical part in bridging engineering design and production execution, with a strong focus on maximizing throughput, efficiency, and quality. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in high-speed PCBA assembly, with a strong emphasis on the Fuji platform, and will serve as the subject matter expert for SMT programming and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: Program Development: Develop and maintain high-accuracy SMT placement programs for complex, high-density PCB assemblies. Fuji Platform Management: Utilize Fuji NEXIM software for part library management, feeder setup, and line balancing across SMT lines. Process Optimization: Analyze machine cycle times and implement improvements to drive higher efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
