JOB SUMMARY: A Concrete Finisher is responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, such as floors, walls, sidewalks, and driveways. This position will use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the concrete is smooth, level, and free of imperfections. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Prepare the area before pouring concrete, such as setting up forms and installing rebar. - Pour and spread the concrete evenly. - Use tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats to smooth and level the concrete. - Add texture or patterns to the concrete surface if the contract specifies. - Apply sealants or other coatings to protect the concrete and enhance its appearance. - Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete. - Repair and patch damaged or uneven concrete surfaces. - Operate equipment, such as concrete saws or grinders, to cut or shape the concrete. - Monitoring the effects of the weather on the curing process. - Comply with all safety requirements and participate in safety meeti...
