Job description

Description Description: The Maintenance Technician will support the objectives of production through the Maintenance function by the implementation of assigned tasks, supplying continuity between engineering and managerial functions. Maintains (through preventative maintenance) repairs and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical systems for production equipment. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: - Performs hands-on maintenance tasks according to set production maintenance priorities, including repairing and troubleshooting of all equipment and support systems for the facility. Also, assists with the repair and maintenance of the physical structure. - Supervises maintenance contractors, when required. - Maintains a Maintenance Action Log, by a piece of equipment, in order to track individual repairs, and serve as a baseline for future preventive maintenance. - Participates in startup and shutdown activities, as required.
