Job description

The Financial Planner is responsible for providing support to Senior Relationship Managers by executing tasks related to comprehensive financial planning and retirement plan consulting services, maintaining client relationships, developing additional work product, and investment management assistance. Position Accountabilities: Work with the Director of Financial Planning in the development of financial plans. Collect, validate and analyze financial data. Input data into financial planning software and develop initial planning recommendations. Demonstrate a broad base of knowledge across all areas of financial planning, including investments, insurance, tax management, retirement analysis and estate planning. Possess a solid understanding of investment markets and products. Provide support for the Director of Retirement Plan Services. Tasks include, but are not limited to, providing objective analysis and investment recommendations on retirement plans as a whole, monitoring investments on at least a quarterly basis, helping to develop services for retirement plan sponsors with fiduciary responsibility.
