Laboratory Assistant at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR Per Diem/Variable Shift: The Asst-Lab 2 is responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, processing, and labeling of laboratory specimens, and the appropriate handling and/or disbursement of laboratory data and patient results. Support personnel work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, vendors, consultants, and other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duty. Required Qualifications: - 2 years - Healthcare or related field experience, OR a combination of applicable experience and education. - Clerical or client services experience. - Experience with State and Federal and other regulatory Compliance Regulations including Medicare Secondary Payor (MSP), EMTALA, ABN, HIPPA.
