1226 Cedar St NE - Grand Rapids Schedule: Part time, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Variable days, Every other weekend. Job Summary: Join our team at Corewell Health and make a difference in the lives of our patients every day. As part of the nutrition team, you'll assist with the care of our patients by coordinating menu selection and educating those with moderately complex diets. You'll also maintain patient information in our software program, ensuring that their nutritional needs are always met. Essential Functions: Answers telephone and processes diet orders, special diets instructions, transfers, discharges and guest tray information. May screen diet order for accuracy. Updates and maintains patient data files within appropriate software system/database. Assembles appropriate tray tickets/menus, verifies consistency with appropriate software system/database and troubleshoots variances making changes or adjustments as needed. May write special diets as needed. Provides and posts production tallies for food items to appropriate food service area according to scheduled time.
