Quality Engineer

Job description

This role supports and strengthens the Quality Management System (QMS), leads structured root cause investigations, monitors and analyzes key quality performance metrics, and drives corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Engineer partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers to improve process capability, reduce nonconformances, and promote a culture of quality and operational excellence. Primary Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer-specific standards. - Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and forms. - Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Process Capability Studies. - Manage calibration and gauge R&R programs for monitoring and measuring equipment. - Lead internal audits, process audits, and support third-party or customer audits. - Analyze quality data, perform trend analysis on NCRs and CPARs, and report on metrics such as scrap, rework, and customer escapes. - Investigate product and process nonconformities, issue corrective and preventive actions, and validate eff...
