Description The YWCA of the City of New York (YWCA NYC) is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice and dignity for all. Through culturally responsive programming, we create pathways for the next generation of leaders to reach for their dreams and drive social change. We currently serve 3,000 New York City youth through leadership, STEAAM and advocacy training through our Girls Initiatives for high school students, and through afterschool programs for elementary and middle school students in culturally diverse communities in NYC.
