Responsibilities: This position assesses, determines, and coordinates placement of all transfers (elective and emergent) in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines. Ensures patient are placed in clinically appropriate level of care via established nursing exclusions. Responsible for coordinating all communication between transfer parties to ensure a timely, seamless, and safe patient transfers. Requires knowledge of specialty services offered, EMTALA regulations, transfer center processes, and exceptional customer service skills. Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: 1.
