Job description

Works with senior management to maintain Quality Assurance and safety programs, including policies, processes, procedures, and controls. Ensures contract performance conforms to established standards and Government agency guidelines, guaranteeing lasting customer satisfaction. This position requires the individual to manage/supervise Contractor Aircraft Quality Control Inspectors. The individual is responsible for the management of the quality and safety programs to ensure compliance under the Contact. This position entails conducting quality and safety inspections/audits of contract operations and subcontractors. This position requires the preparation of QA/Safety/Hazardous Waste programs, manuals, and revisions. This individual provides a response to customer concerns and findings and tracks corrective actions taken in response to internal and customer audit findings. This individual must act as a direct representative to the local Navy point of contact.
