Terms of Employment: 10-month Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Scale: AFSCME UA3, Grade 3-7 https://www.ccboe.com/careers/salary-scales EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: · High School Diploma required. · Experience working with children preferred QUALIFICATIONS: · Ability to work in an instructional support role during virtual speech language therapy sessions. · Excellent human relations skills. · Excellent organizational and communication skills. · Knowledge of developmental stages of children. · Good oral and written communication skills. · Flexibility to adjust to frequent schedule changes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Facilitate the teletherapy program in coordination with the SLP teletherapist. - Assist students with logging on for teletherapy sessions. - Troubleshoot technological difficulties during sessions as needed. - Escort students to the assigned space to access teletherapy sessions. - Document attendance, student participation, and concerns from therapy sessions. - Communicate concerns/issues to relevant personnel at school buildings.
