Job Description: - Excellent benefits including salary packaging - Fitzroy location - Multiple fixed term, part time positions available, hours can vary until March 2027 About the Role: You will join the St Vincent's Public Hospital Chemotherapy Day Unit team as a Grade 3 Registered Nurse. Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of clinical nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Duties include: Demonstrate a Person Centred Care Approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice Provide the highest standard of direct patient care; demonstrate safe administration of anti-cancer medication and expert cannulation skills. Provide advice to patients and carers on symptom management through the disease process Identify psycho-social needs of patients and their families and initiates appropriate referrals Assess the learning needs of home based care givers and as patients move through the illness continuum provide appropriate education, guidance and referrals as necessary Classifications for this position will range from YU11 ($111,930.00 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution: Degree in general nursing which meets t...
