Department/Unit: Surgery Administration Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: The SICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide comprehensive care for critically ill surgical patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This role involves managing high-acuity patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring continuity of care across all phases of critical illness. This position will consist of 3 12 hours shifts from 7pm to 7am. Salary Range: $52,058- $60,734: Primary Responsibilities: - Perform daily SICU rounds and actively participate in multidisciplinary discussions. - Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for critically ill patients. - Develop and implement evidence-based care plans in collaboration with attending physicians. - Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests and imaging. - Perform and assist with bedside procedures (e.g., arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, thoracentesis). - Manage ventilators and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. - Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure seamless transitions of care. - Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic...
