Work Schedule: This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. This is a hybrid position and training onsite is required at 7974 UW Health Ct for up to 6 weeks. Once fully trained, this role will become primarily remote. Qualified applicants must be able to work 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Additional schedule details will be discussed in the interview process. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking an Authorization Representative to: - Obtain prior authorization from payers for inpatient and outpatient services provided by UW Health. - Demonstrate skilled communication and troubleshooting techniques as well as excellent customer service skills. - Anticipate and respond to a wide variety of issues/concerns and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
