Job Description: We are seeking an energetic, patient, thoughtful, and outgoing Direct Support Professional to support & assist an individual in the surrounding community. You will teach all community safety & awareness, social interactions & self-help skills. Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support to an individual in their home & community whom has a diagnosis of Autism or other developmental disabilities & has limited safety awareness. Implement the individuals Support Plan as developed Provide the necessary accommodations to support an individual with various challenges (behavioral, physical, communication, etc.) within their home and community Support the individual to establish a daily/weekly schedule of activities.
