Toolmaker / Machinist – Direct Hire Location: Farmington, CT: Work Environment: Machine Shop Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility) Pay Range: $35.00 – $40.00 Hours: 40 + hours per week Travel: None Position Overview: Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a precision manufacturing company in Farmington, CT to identify an experienced Toolmaker / Machinist for a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished toolmaker or machinist with strong inspection capabilities and the mathematical aptitude required for complex setups and high-tolerance work. Key Responsibilities: Primary daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining a vertical mill (ProtoTRAK), Haas TM2 CNC Milling Center, EZ-Path CNC Lathe, OD grinder, and surface grinder.
