Summary of Performance Expectations. Meets all customer service needs for cafeteria guests and medical center employees. Education and Credentials: Required High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented with knowledge of food preparation procedures and excellent customer service skills. Preferred: Formal training in institutional cooking methods and sanitation procedures. Basic computer skills. Work Experience: Required Six months experience in restaurant or institutional food service required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
