Title: Unit Manager: Keen Mountain Correctional Center #00409 State Role Title: Security Manager II Hiring Range: $60,620.00 - $94,680.00: Pay Band: 5: Agency: Dept of Corr - Central Admin Location: Keen Mountain Correctional Ctr: Agency Website: www.vadoc.virginia.gov: Recruitment Type: Agency Employee Only - A Job Duties: Contributes to the agency’s public safety mission by serving as the manager of one or more housing units at a major correctional center. Collaborates with security, treatment, maintenance and support staff to ensure inmates receive effective reentry programming and services based on evidence-based principles (EBP) and practices. Oversees inmate classification, discipline, programs and services, security operations, audit compliance documentation, and building maintenance and sanitation for assigned unit(s). Supervises Lieutenants and Casework Counselors. Minimum Qualifications: Extensive working knowledge of prison operations, policies, and procedures.
