As a Software Engineer Senior within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Birmingham, AL. Preferred- Core Mainframe Development Expertise: · 7+ years of hands-on experience developing, enhancing, and supporting IBM z/OS mainframe applications in large-scale, regulated enterprise environments. · Advanced proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and CICS, supporting both online transaction processing and complex batch workflows. · Strong experience with DB2 including complex SQL, schema design, performance tuning, and data integrity controls. · Proven ability to understand, refactor, and modernize large, complex legacy codebases while maintaining system stability and performance.
