Requisition ID: 65407 Title: Systems Engineering Intern Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Systems Engineering team in Santa Barbara, CA (ACT) is responsible for full lifecycle product development of Arthrex’s industry‑leading camera systems. We are searching for a highly capable Software‑focused Systems Engineering Intern to help architect and develop the next‑generation reliability automation platform for our Sentinel test ecosystem. The successful candidate will design and implement a software toolchain that coordinates and orchestrates a variety of internally developed hardware actuators (e.g., camera insertion fixtures, robotic arms, button pushers, power controllers), integrates with our existing SQA automation framework, and monitors system behavior through logs, console output, and webcam/video streams. This role involves creating a visual, node‑based workflow builder - similar in spirit to block‑based programming environments (e.g., Node-RED), consumer automation tools (e.g., IFTTT), or engineering tools like LabVIEW - that enables engineers to construct reliability test sequenc...
