Decontamination Driver Sterile Services (Bank) Stoke (ST5 7UF) | Bank Contract - Ad hoc £12.84 per hour Our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) transports sterile and disinfected surgical equipment to our local hospital network. If you have a full driving licence with a C1 entitlement that allows you to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), you could enjoy the benefits of joining the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. As a Driver on our Stoke HSSU team, you’re comfortable with manual handling and happy to move transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg. As well as a basic knowledge of current driver hour legislation, you ideally hold a driver digital tachograph card. CPC training would also be advantageous but full training will be provided. You’ll be a great ambassador for our unit and our customers’ first point of contact. As a Driver, you will: Drive up to 7.5T vehicles across the Midlands to Collect/Deliver medical instrumentation. The successful applicant will benefit from a steady role of 7.5 hours per day driving within the working time regulations with limited drops to our customers. (we are not multi drop).
