Title Customer Service Lead Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Front End: Minor Department: Front End: Reports to: Front End Manager, Store Manager: Job summary: The Front End Customer Service Clerk/Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests at the POS (Point of Sale). They ensure each customer leaves Pete’s Fresh Market with an outstanding experience, while delivering a fast, friendly, and accurate transaction and answering any questions/concerns. As a team member of Pete’s Fresh Market it is important that Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service are always exemplified. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment. - Greet all Customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance. - Initiates returns, resolves customer issues or escalates complaints to management as appropriate. - Must have an extensive understanding of all produce codes and weekly sale items, company coupon policy, and store policies required during check-out. - Promote for sale any current charitable promotions to Customers. - Must have knowledge on the POS system, including...
