Summary Job Description: Pharmacy Resident Full Time I First Shift: Hospital Pharmacy I Lexington, Ky: The pharmacy department works to achieve optimal medication use and patient outcomes in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Pharmacy is responsible for the storage, preparation (including sterile compounding), distribution, and dispensing of medications 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Pharmacy utilizes automated dispensing cabinets and barcoding to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. Inpatient pharmacy clinical services involve pharmacists working directly with healthcare teams to optimize patient drug therapy by providing drug information and therapeutic monitoring.
