Research Scientist Job Summary: This role serves as the Principal Investigator Research Scientist responsible for study design, execution, and data interpretation for client-sponsored and internal research studies. The position also provides leadership and operational oversight of the animal research program to ensure compliance with USDA regulations, institutional policies, and industry standards for humane animal care and research. Essential Functions: ◦ Serve as Principal Investigator / Study Director for in vivo preclinical research studies. ◦ Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop study objectives, experimental design, and research strategies. ◦ Provide scientific leadership throughout study execution, data interpretation, and reporting. ◦ Evaluate new research opportunities and contribute to development of new research capabilities. ◦ Provide scientific and operational oversight of the animal research program. ◦ Ensure compliance with applicable USDA regulations, animal welfare standards, and institutional policies. ◦ Support and participate in activities related to IACUC protocols, animal welfare oversight, and regulatory inspections. ◦ Work collaboratively w...
