Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We are seeking a High-Thrust Engine Lead to help us in our mission by leading the activities of Storm development and managing the team. Key responsibilities: - Leading a team of engineers and technicians, managing and directing a team of engineers and technicians who work on a variety of engineering projects. This may involve setting goals and objectives, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to team members. - Leading the hiring process, defining the needs, the job description, conducting the interviews and onboarding newcomers. - Supporting and challenging the team in their main design choices and development logic - Overseeing the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
