Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Laboratory Inspector through 04/30/2026 at 11:59 p.m. ( CST ). This position is for a Laboratory Inspector at the Chevron Oronite Plant. Successful candidates will start as an Inspector Trainee and progress through an established training program to the position of Laboratory Inspector. The Inspector will perform a wide variety of physical and chemical tests for quality control of an oil and gas additives plant, including performance of analytical test methods, instrument troubleshooting and repair as required, and other general laboratory duties. Finished product, process, and incoming materials testing is the primary focus of this position. The Quality Control Department is also responsible for ensuring that samples meet all ASTM and Oronite Quality requirements. This position is union represented and works a 12-hour rotating schedule with weekend and holiday coverage, for a typical 14 of 28 days worked per month.
