FACULTY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS AND DATA SCIENCE: Part-Time Lecturer Pool Position: POSITION AVAILABLE : One or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2026, and/or Spring Semester 2027. THE DEPARTMENT : The Department of Statistics and Data Science offers undergraduate degrees in Statistics and Data Science, two post-baccalaureate certificates (in applied or mathematical statistics), and master’s degree in Statistics. The Statistics MS degree offers five concentrations (Actuarial, Applied, Biostatistics, Data Science, and Mathematical Statistics). The Department also teaches basic statistics courses for many major programs throughout the University. The concentrations in the MS Statistics program allow students to customize their program specific to their career and academic goals. Programs include mix of theory and applications and the department uses various software for instructions such as (but not limited to) R, Python, SAS.
