Title Cart Attendant Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Front End: Minor Department: Front End: Reports to: Front End Manager, Store Manager: Job Summary: The Cart Attendant is an entry-level position responsible for exceptional execution of customer service in the store, parking lots, and entrance/exits of the stores. S/he is solely accountable for the overall aesthetic appearance of the parking lot. S/he must ensure that all customer carts are retrieved and stored properly in the cart corral or designated cart areas. Occasionally s/he will assist customers with the delivery and loading of their groceries into their vehicles. Based upon business needs, a cart attendant may be called upon to assist with actual store operation activities such as stocking shelves, assisting with customers, and cleaning.
