Job Title: Senior Construction Engineer Location: Brussels, Belgium (Fully Remote): Contract Type: Freelance / Consultancy: We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to perform an independent technical assessment of two existing studies related to the future-proofing of a large administrative building in Brussels. The mission focuses on building engineering, energy performance improvements, and compliance with Brussels energy regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a desk study focused on building envelope performance, electrical installations, and lighting systems (LED retrofits, daylight and occupancy controls) Analyse technical documentation, as-built files, inspection reports, and existing engineering studies Provide an independent technical evaluation with clear recommendations for short- and long-term investments Assess compliance with Brussels regulations and energy obligations (BWLKE, PLAGE, EPB requirements) Evaluate measures required to reduce energy consumption toward targeted performance levels by 2040 Deliver a structured report outlining investment priorities, risks, and improvement opportunities Formulate pragmatic assumptions where information is...
