Schedule Part Time, Day Shift (64 hours biweekly) Hours: Monday - Friday (Varied days), 7:00AM - 3:30PM Rotation: On call rotation: General Summary: Provides radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physician according to Wellspan Oncology Servile Line established standards and practices. Performs CT-simulation procedures and/or other treatments/procedures requiring specialized skills/training at an advanced skill level. Essential Functions: - Delivers a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients; obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedure. - Checks prescription, diagnosis, chart, patient identification, etc. - Prepares room and equipment for patient. - Reinforces recommendations given to patient by the physician, nurses, dietician, etc., concerning reaction to treatment and care of the radiated area, prevention or treatment of generalized and local side effects. - Observes patient for any unusual reactions or events. - Performs IGRT procedures for tumor localization. - Prepares patient and equipment for, and performs simulation procedures.
