This position supervises staff engaged in transportation engineering activities such as planning, design, construction, traffic operations, maintenance, and bridge inspection, with a strong focus on PS&E development and consultant design management. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Transportation Planning & Development (TP&D), this role is virtually self‑supervising and assumes direct accountability for work products. The supervisor ensures compliance with federal and state laws, TxDOT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, and coordinates with governmental agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
